# Can I Delete a Presentation?

### Overview

Sure! If you use a Google login, your Pear Deck presentations live in Google Drive, which means you organize, share, delete, and restore them all in your own [My Drive account](https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive). If you use a Microsoft 365 login, your Pear Deck presentations live in your OneDrive and you can manage your files from there. On the Pear Deck Home screen, you can hide recent files, but not delete them.

This article explains how to:

- Delete a Pear Deck file
- Restore a file you accidentally deleted
- Remove (hide) a file from your Pear Deck Home

#### **Delete a Pear Deck**

1. Open your [Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive) or [OneDrive](https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-ca/signin/), depending on how you login to Pear Deck.
2. Search for the Deck.
3. Select it.
4. Click on the trash can to delete.

#### **Restore a file you accidentally deleted**

In Google Drive...

1. Go to the menu on the left side of the screen and click on *Trash.*
2. Select the file.
3. Click the *Restore from trash* button.

In OneDrive...

1. Open *Recycle bin.*
2. Select the file.
3. Click *Restore.*

**Remove (hide) a file from your Pear Deck Home:**

This process will not delete your file, rather, remove it from your Pear Deck Home.

1. Go to [Pear Deck Home](https://app.peardeck.com/home/).
2. Hover over the top right corner of the file thumbnail.
3. Click the drop-down arrow.
4. Click *Remove from Recent Activit*y. This will remove the file from your Pear Deck Home, but not delete it.
